The son and daughter of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen and Her Royal Highness Princess Azemah Ni'matul Bolkiah joined Brunei Darussalam's polo team against Malaysia polo team in the semi-final polo event at the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand. The match was held at VS Sports Club, Samutprakan, Thailand, 8th December night.

Brunei Darussalam's polo team recorded a 9-6 victory over Malaysia polo team in 4 Chukkas, and advance to the final.

His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen scored 1 goal in the 1st chukka and another in the 3rd chukka. Her Royal Highness Princess 'Azemah Ni'matul Bolkiah scored 1 goal in the 2nd chukka and another in 3rd chukka. With the result, the national polo team will compete for the gold medal against the hosts Thailand, tomorrow at 6.30 in the afternoon local time.
